CLIENT ENGAGEMENTS
Many HBA projects are long term and involve comprehensive work on organizational issues and solutions.
ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENT & DEVELOPMENT
Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art & Storytelling
Broadway Housing Communities, the affordable and supportive housing entity rooted in education and the arts, created SHCMAS as its first established museum. Findings from an HBA staff assessment following significant management turnover, led the board to promote from within, initiating a year-long professional development commitment to the new leadership team. Recognizing the impact of a growth spurt on the institution after 35 years of steady stewardship, BHC leadership also engaged in customized advisory services. Learn More About Sugar Hill Museum
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & EDUCATION
Baruch College/CUNY, Master’s Degree in Arts Administration
The creation of an interdisciplinary advanced degree program designed for working professionals draws on the unique strengths of Baruch’s Schools of Arts and Sciences, Business and Public Affairs. Working with Baruch’s senior leadership, this project included conceptualizing the program, creating course descriptions and syllabi, design of course offerings and curriculum, and budgeting. Experience educating the next generation of arts administrators at Baruch and Hunter Colleges via self-designed undergraduate courses with a practical approach and a lens on the relationship of the arts and NYC, was a complement to this work.
